Antonia is a communications specialist with a background in newspaper journalism, politics and governance. After working in corporate finance at CJ Lawrence Morgan Grenfell in New York, she became Banking Correspondent at the Daily Telegraph in London and a leader writer there and at the London Evening Standard. She was a policy advisor to the UK Conservative Party on transport and is now an elected councillor in the City of Westminster, where responsibilities have included the pension fund for council employees and licensing policy for one of Europe's largest centres of restaurants, pubs and bars.. She was co-founder and vice chairman of governors at a new, publicly funded school, Marylebone Boys'. Her interest in governance was further developed during three years as a non-executive director of the Student Loans Company, the UK public body responsible for the government's student loan portfolio of over £100 billion. Antonia has an MA in philosophy and history from the University of Cambridge.
