David Levin
David Levin is a Senior Advisor and member of the Feigen Advisors Team where he serves leading CEOs on matters of governance, strategy, technology, investor relations, and execution and people issues.

In addition, David is spending a year as Entrepreneur in Residence at Arizona State University. He is also non-executive Chairmen of the Crumpton Group LLC – a private US intelligence-led advisory firm – and also Hartford Care Ltd, a private nursing home business in the UK. David is on the Board of COFRA Holdings, a Swiss family enterprise with interests in property, private equity, and retail and acts as special advisor to several startup AI and data companies.

David has spent the last 20 years as the CEO of four companies - leading them through cycles of innovation, business -model evolution, geographic reorientation and cultural renewal. He has had a wide leadership experience across multiple sectors - running two public and two private companies; two media and two technology companies. David has run businesses with significant footprints in, among others, the USA, the UK, France, China, India, Brazil and the Gulf. David has invested in leadership development in all these businesses – building a positive culture as a core element of business development through coaching and wider experiential learning.

As CEO of McGraw-Hill Education (2014-17), he led the development of digital offerings and built an engineering product/services team combining psychology and AI. As CEO of UBM (2005-14), he built its global events and exhibitions business, launching in India, across ASEAN and building in China, and spearheading $2 billion of acquisitions and divestitures. As CEO of Symbian Ltd (2002-05), he led the development of the first smartphone OS in a company co-owned by the major handset manufacturers, supporting the first 100 million handsets, and beating then-competitor Microsoft. As CEO of Psion plc (1998-2002), he led through the tech bubble, repositioning the firm around the ‘mobile internet’ and launching a series of innovative hardware products.

Before his years as a CEO, David spent four years as the CFO and COO of the international Publisher Euromoney Institutional Investor plc; four years with the Private Equity group APAX; and five years with Bain & Company. He was educated at Oxford University (BA – PPE) and Stanford University (MBA). David also held a Short Service Limited Commission and served as an Infantry officer with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.

Married to Lindsay, they have three sons (25, 23, and 20).
